Rooibos Oats

Steel cut oats with red rooibos tea….

YUM!

We make oats/oatmeal at least once a week and this is the first time my small person asked for seconds!  🙂

Super simple.

Rinse and drain one cup of steel cut oats (we used Bob’s Red Mill).

Put them in a pot with one cup of water and two cups of (steeped) red rooibos tea.

Bring it to a boil and then reduce the heat to a low-medium temperature.

Cook for about twenty minutes or until the oats are tender.

Serve with a generous amount of ‘So Delicious’ coconut milk and a drizzle of  coconut nectar … or maple syrup.

Great way to start your day!
