Chocolate Almond Milk

From scratch!  🙂

Soak one cup of almonds for at least four hours.

Drain the soaking water and toss the almonds into your vitamix or blender.

Add in four cups of filtered water.

Process on high speed for about one minute.

Pour through some cheesecloth or, recently we discover that canning mesh bags from the local hardware store work great!

Now, you can turn the whole batch into chocolate milk or you can split it half… like we did.

Pour two cups of your strained almond milk back into the vitamix and add in one tablespoon of coconut nectar and two tablespoons of raw cacao powder. Process until fully combined and there you have it.

Beautiful, fresh, not to mention fabulously delicious chocolate almond milk!

Hope y’all had a great day!

The almond milk you made was SO delicious. In fact, I have never enjoyed a good-for-me beverage to this extent before. Again, SO delicious. I’ll bet the chocolate is delightful too –
