Veggie Seed Crackers

YUM!

Package these up quickly because you will want to eat them ALL!  🙂

Place half a cup of flax seeds in a bowl and cover with half a cup of water…

Let these soak while you prepare the remainder of the ingredients.

In a food processor…

  • 1/4 of a red pepper
  • 1 piece of celery
  • a handful of cilantro
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1tbsp of braggs

Process this until almost a paste… use a spatula and empty this into a mixing bowl.

Then add…

  • 1/4c chia seeds
  • 1/4c hemp hearts
  • soaked flax seeds (you just want to make sure all the water has been absorbed)

Mix all of the above together and pour out onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.  It will take a bit of ‘massaging’ to get the mixture spread out evenly… but so worth it!  🙂

Bake in a low to moderate (275-3oo) oven for about an hour… let cool, break into pieces and try to save some for your friends!  🙂
