So Simple Vegan White Cake…

This is sort of our version of a white wacky cake … so simple and you likely have all of the ingredients close by!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

We often will bake these, use one and throw the other one in the freezer to have on hand for last minute company.

In a bowl…

  • 3c of unbleached, organic white flour
  • 1.5c of sugar (we use coconut sugar)
  • 1tsp of baking soda
  • 2tsp of baking powder
  • 1tsp of sea salt
  • 1tbsp of good vanilla
  • 3tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2c of melted (and cooled) coconut oil
  • 2c of room temperature water

Mix all of the above ingredients together and pour into two round cake pans or you could fill twenty-four mini cupcake cups and pour the remainder in a cake pan.


Bake for thirty minutes in a 350 degree oven, remove and cool!

  3. mine came out kinda think I guess, didn’t like it all the much unfortunately (and yes I had two seperate cakes going so I left one in longer and that didn’t seem to help).. hoping it was just an error I made, I’ll likely try this again in the future cause the batter tasted wonderful :p
